Colli Tortonesi 'Bricco San Michele' 2024, Claudio Mariotto Books aromatic white from the PeloponnesePiedmont is known for its world class red wines, but it has a noble white grape too in the form of Timorasso, which can make wonderfully ageworthy white wines. This wine hails from Colli Tortonesi, in the south east of the region, from a single vineyard with limestone soils. It's powerful and fresh with tangy citrus oil, yellow plum and nectarine fruit and with a lovely textural core from spending 12 months on lees.
