Mortimer Borne's early drypoints of New York Cityand surrounding area from the late 1920's 1940's are compelling in their slightly expressionist aesthetic and attention to detail, and deserve to be seen more often. A prolific printmaker and painter, his work is in the collection of several museums. The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York holds a
