I kept this in mind for ages thinking it would make a good lithograph

There is a much sadder history here too as many of the inhabitants were evicted by the landlord in the 1840's and were forced to leave their homes

This is typical of the old traditional cottages which fit into the landscape so well

I made this lithograph entirely myself from beginning to end, from the initial idea, through painting and processing the image on the litho stone, proofing and printing the edition.
