Rose petals, licorice, tar, sweet cherries and spices are some of the nuances that emerge from the glass. The tannins are firm yet well integrated. This is a decidedly mid weight, gracious style for the year. It will be interesting to see how the wine develops over the coming years, but it is unrealistic to place too high an expectation on a wine that
